info@nancyalonzoministries.com May 19, 2010 Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look on the fields, that they are white for harvest. "Already he who reaps is receiving wages and is gathering fruit for life eternal; so that he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together. "For in this case the saying is true, 'One sows and another reaps.' "I sent you to reap that for which you have not labored; others have labored and you have entered into their labor." (John 4:35-38) Dear Friends and Family, Greetings, the purpose of this letter is to bless you with an opportunity to bring the message of the Gospel to the nations. I will be bringing a team to Haiti on July 20, 2010. We will be there for ten days. During that time we will be ministering on the streets with Jesus filled dramas. We will also be going to orphanages and hospitals. And in our spare time we will be helping rebuild houses. In other words we are going to serve in anyway that is needed. The trip will cost $1600. Our air fare will be due soon. Make your check payable to Nancy Alonzo Ministries so that you will receive a tax credit at the end of the year.
The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and
whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as
he has made up his mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves
a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that
having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every
good work. In addition to gathering people together for the Haiti Mission, I’ve been teaching an Evangelism Class for Victory’s Bible Collage. It’s been a blessing to have students that are so hungry for the word. We’ll be joining with our Broad Street Mission to do an outreach to the Iberville Projects on Saturday, May 22 at 12 noon till 4. If you’d like to come just give me a call. Every Thursday I’ve been going to our Women’s Rehab, Mary’s Song and counseling the ladies. It’s been a privilege to be a part of such a valuable ministry. Their always in need of volunteers. My husband, Norman and Mike Palermo cook lunch for them every Monday. If the Lord puts this ministry on your heart, please don’t hesitate to give of your time. June 14 - 18 I’ll be helping Pastors Larry and Leslie Roques of Joy Fellowship, in Slidell with an Outreach to the Ninth Ward. Every night at 7pm there will be a Blues Jam with Pastor Larry and Landon Spradlin. The event will be at 6022 N. Claiborne, the corner of Tupelo. During the day we will be taking teams, doing door to door evangelism. I need help with this Outreach. If your interested, please call. Many Blessings & Much Love,
